DescriptionPolly of the Circus (MGM, 1932). Folded on Paper, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27.5" X 41") Style C. From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
This MGM drama stars Marion Davies as a circus aerialist who marries a minister, played by Clark Gable. Trouble ensues when this unusual union causes contempt from the good pastor's congregation. Never before offered by Heritage, this stone litho one sheet has received corrections to fold wear and separation, as well as a few minor chips. Still apparent is some edge wear, mild creases, pinholes, and mostly small tears. Other wear includes minor stains, and a tape stain at one of the chips in the right of the top border with a splice. There are a few minor post-backing tears.
Estimate: $2,500 - $5,000.
