Pinocchio (RKO, 1947). Folded, Fine. First Post War Italian Release 2-Fogli (38.5" X 55").
Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket and almost the entire cast, look fabulous on this rare first time offer from Heritage of the Italian 2-fogli released just after World War II. This famed children's story originated in Italy from author Carlo Collodi. The poster has toning and a lighter spot where a snipe was previously applied. There is wear to the border and folds with some amateur touchup in small areas of paper loss. There are larger area of white paper tape applied on the verso to give the poster greater durability. This poster would undergo a dramatic and beautiful transformation if restored by a competent craftsman.

    Estimate: $5,000 - $10,000.
