    Picture Play & Other Lot (Street and Smith, 1933/1936). Fine/Very Fine. Magazines (4) (Multiple Pages, 8.5" X 11.5" & 8.5" X 11.75"). Miscellaneous.
Offered in this lot are two issues of Picture Play magazine from April 1933 and November 1936, and two issues of Movie Mirror (Futura, 1931) from November and December 1931, which feature lovely front cover portraits of actresses Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis by Paul Maison, Greta Garbo, and Loretta Young. Inside are articles about the screen, vintage ads, and photos of celebrities, such as Joan Crawford, William Powell, Bela Lugosi, Maurice Chevalier, and Mae West, to name a few. Unrestored magazines that display signs of use. May include edge and spine wear, mild creases, small tears and chips, slight spine separations, staple holes, dust shadows, or some stains and smudges. The November 1931 issue of Movie Mirror has staining and rippling along the spine, and the November 1936 issue of Picture Play has had parts of some articles cut out.
