    Description

Douglas Fairbanks/D.W. Griffith Lot (Museum of Modern Art, 1940). Hardcover Books (2) (7.75" X 10.25"). Photo.
Published by the Museum of Modern Art in New York, these books focus on two Hollywood icons with Douglas Fairbanks: The Making of a Screen Character by Alistair Cooke and D.W. Griffith: American Film Master by Iris Barry. Unrestored books with good color and overall very presentable appearances. They may have edge and spine wear, slight spine separations, corner bends, tears, surface scuffing, paper lifts, slight paper loss, unobtrusive writing, staining and smudges, and/or some faint toning. Douglas Fairbanks: The Making of a Screen Character has an ink stamp on the title page, an interior crack of the front spine, a piece of cellophane tape on one of the pages, and paint on the spine. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Overall Grade: Fine+.
