Pantomime Theatre - Robinson Crusoe (Taylors Printers, 1930s). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. British Theater Three Sheet (40" X 88.75"). Miscellaneous.
Featured in this lot is an original 1930s pantomime theater poster for Robinson Crusoe. It shows a pinup girl and is an excellent example of stone litho created by one of the foremost entertainment printing leaders of the time period, Taylors of Wombwell. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. May include light edge or fold wear, moderate fold separations, soft creases, minute chips, very minor tears, unobtrusive smudges, or ink stamps. The three sheet was printed on the reverse side of other posters, one panel from six sheet for You Can't cheat an Honest Man (Universal, 1939) and a panel from a three sheet for The Man I Marry (Universal, 1936). There is slight bleedthrough from the printing on the verso. This poster comes in two panels as originally printed. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
