    One of two posters Cardinaux designed for the famous hotel in Switzerland, this one shows lounging winter guests. Employing casual grace and compelling composition, Cardinaux depicts this tableaux in his simple, bold style. This poster, a first time offer from Heritage, captures a specific style and fashion, to reflect the lifestyle of the hotel's clientele. The famous hotel, still in existence, opened in 1896 and has 157 rooms, of which 37 are suites. The poster has been conserved on linen and had touchup to the upper right corner and small areas around the border.
