This stock one sheet for Flaming Frontiers promotes Universal Pictures' thrilling 15-chapter Western serial starring Johnny Mack Brown, the former University of Alabama All-American halfback who chose a Hollywood career over professional football, becoming one of the era's most popular Western stars. Produced during Brown's second decade of screen stardom, the serial delivered the cliffhanger action audiences craved, while the poster itself is especially notable for its dramatic pulp-style artwork featuring the then-unknown Iron Eyes Cody. Carefully applied airbrushing and touchup, with some replacement, has beautifully restored edge and fold wear, creases, fold separation, some tears and chipping, and slight staining. It presents gorgeously.
