DescriptionPoppy (Paramount, 1936). Very Fine-. Window Card (14" X 22").
Poppy made W.C. Fields a Broadway star in its original stage production in 1923 and was made into a silent film entitled Sally of the Sawdust. This 1936 version is the best known, with Fields as a small time confidence man (what else?) working the carnival circuit. There is light foxing, minor edge wear, and a small bump on the bottom border. The poster features a classic image of Fields and the color is outstanding.
Estimate: $400 - $800.
