    Description

    The Jazz Singer (Warner Bros., 1927). Very Fine- on Linen. 24 Sheet (106.5" X 233.5").
    Heritage has the pleasure of presenting this 24 sheet for the first time, especially as it is one of only two copies copies known. Professional restoration has been applied to correct some creasing and tears. There were various small areas of paper loss within the image, including some above Jolson's eye, in the fold in and around the "L" of Al, as well as paper loss and staining in the first "O" of Jolson. Still visible is a very minor paper lift in the upper right background, in addition to areas of printing rub-through and ink transfer on this large poster, as is commonly found in posters from this period. To be completed.
