DescriptionStrangers on a Train (Warner Brothers, 1951). Fine+ on Linen. Insert (14" X 36").
Robert Walker is terrific as the insecure, delusional, and deadly Bruno, a mild-looking young man who takes it upon himself to plan Farley Granger's wife's murder as well as his own father's. With a climactic tennis match and chase through a carnival, this Alfred Hitchcock thriller is one of his finest. Partial touchup has been applied to edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, pinholes, and a few creases. Also addressed were small tears in the borders, and a couple of chips in the upper left corner and border. There was a tear from the lower fold into the image. Some of these issues are still visible. Fine+ on Linen.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
