    Description

    One Week (Metro, 1920). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Buster Keaton finally strikes out on his own after costarring in several silent shorts with Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle during the 1910s, his solo debut making a successful splash at the box office. He stars opposite Sybil Seely here, playing a pair of newlyweds attempting to assemble a pre-fabricated house. Of course, a sore rival sabotages the numbering on the assembly kit, turning the one-week-long project into a catastrophe. In this lobby card, we can see the leading couple with the longtime Keaton co-star, Joe Roberts, playing a comedic bit as a piano mover. It's the first time Heritage has had the pleasure of offering any paper from this historic comedy. Prior to restoration, this lobby card once showed corner bends, small tears, pinholes in the borders, and chips in the corners with a minor bit of paper loss in the right border. The borders have been partially airbrushed. Fine+.

    Estimate: $800 - $1,600.
