    Description

One Night (Svensk Filmindustri, 1931). Rolled, Very Fine. Swedish One Sheet (27.5" X 39.5") John Jon-And Artwork.
Set in Finland, the birthplace of director Gustaf Molander, this early Swedish talkie tells a dramatic tale with noticeable Soviet sympathies. Björn Berglund plays a Finnish noble that leaves behind his rank and family when he falls in love with Ingert Bjuggren, playing a Russian peasant girl. With revolution looming on the horizon and a brother in charge of squashing the rebellion (portrayed by Uno Henning), our protagonist must choose between honor and the woman he loves. A first-time offering at Heritage, this gorgeous country of origin poster has slight edge wear, small tears, and some soft creases. There is a very minor chip in the left border and one of the tears is braced with a piece of cellophane tape on the verso. Rolled, Very Fine.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
