DescriptionOld Clothes (MGM, 1925). Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41"). From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
Young Jackie Coogan stars as a young junk dealer in this early starring role for one of the premiere actress of the 1930s, Joan Crawford. This is Crawford's second credited role. Coogan would become one of the biggest money-making stars of the silent era and would file a law suit against his parents for squandering the fortune he made. Never before offered by Heritage, this stone litho one sheet, the only known copy, has received professional corrections to fold wear and separation, some tears, and small chips, a couple of which were in Jackie Coogan's image. One of the tears extended from the lower border into Willard Mack's credit and there was some paper loss at the middle fold in the right background. The borders and yellow background have had airbrush work.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
