DescriptionNotorious (RKO, 1946). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Framed by the key to the wine cellar which plays such a pivotal role in the film, Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant are featured beautifully in this poster for Notorious. The film features some of Alfred Hitchcock's most tense and memorable scenes, making this cleverly designed poster a must-own for fans of the director. The film also stars Claude Rains who can be see in the lower portion of the poster. The poster is backed on linen, and restoration has addressed minor edge and fold wear, pinholes, and a few tiny chips in the borders, with just a slight more touchup applied to the center points. The poster displays very well after restoration.
Estimate: $2,500 - $5,000.
