DescriptionCharlie Chan at the Wax Museum (20th Century Fox, 1940). Pre-War Australian Daybill (15" X 40").
Mystery and horror abound in a eerie wax museum, housing statues of such infamous murderers as Jack the Ripper and Bluebeard, and run by a mad plastic surgeon (Henry Gordon). When a vicious gangster (Marc Lawrence) plots to gain revenge on detective Charlie Chan (Sidney Toler), the wax museum becomes a perfect venue for murder! An early Toler entry into this fine series, this memorable film is represented here by a moody Australian daybill, the first that Heritage has ever had the opportunity to sell. Touchup has been applied to small tears in the left and right borders and a small chip in the right border. There is staining in the borders that is still visible. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
Estimate: $700 - $1,400.
