Another Thin Man (MGM, 1939). Still (8" X 10"). This was the third entry in the "Thin Man" series, that once again starred William Powell and Myrna Loy as the sophisticated detective team of Nick and Nora Charles, but this time with the addition of 8-month-old Nick Charles, Jr. (William A. Poulsen). Adapted from Dashiell Hammett's "The Farewell Murder," the film finds the famous Charles family caught up in a murder investigation on Long Island. The series proved to be so successful that MGM would continue to team Powell and Loy in a total of six "Thin Man" films running from 1934 to 1947. Minor wear along the edges. Scuffing and creasing in the borders. Faint wrinkling and scuffing in the image. Wonderful portrait shot of Loy and Powell. Fine.
