My Man Godfrey (Universal, 1936). Jumbo Window Card (22" X 28"). In an interesting twist on the Cinderella story, spoiled heiress Irene Bullock (Carole Lombard), while on a society scavenger hunt, finds educated hobo Godfrey (William Powell) living in the city dump and hires him on the spot as the new family butler. But Godfrey isn't really a penniless bum, he's actually a blue-blood from a wealthy Boston family who retreated from life after a bad romantic experience! As Godfrey becomes part of the Bullock household, he injects a dose of much-needed sanity into their chaotic lives, while Irene falls in love with him. One of the classic "screwball" comedies of the 1930s, this movie is still considered one of the greatest comic romps of all time. Offered here is a beautiful jumbo window card from this classic film. Professionally restored, it has had a small amount of touch-up work done on both Lombard and Powell's faces, but there are no other condition issues to speak of. If you've been looking for the perfect piece from this wonderful movie, look no further! Fine/Very Fine on Cardstock.
