    Description

My Darling Clementine (20th Century Fox, 1946). Fine+ on Linen. Three Sheet (40.5" X 78.5"). Sergio Gargiulo Artwork.
John Ford tackled one of the Wild West's greatest legends when he cast Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp and Victor Mature as Doc Holliday, and recreated the infamous shootout at the OK Corral. Although the film took great liberties with historical facts, Ford claimed that he actually met with Earp before his death in 1929 and filmed the shootout as described by Earp. This fabulous three sheet, designed by famed artist Sergio Gargiulo, features the beautiful Linda Darnell, and is by far the best poster produced for this title. The borders, except for the bottom border, were trimmed a half inch, there were tears in Mature's forehead, and in the interior, with small chips. All has been professionally restored and there has been airbrushing in the bottom title area.
