Description

My American Wife (Paramount, 1922). Title Lobby Card and Lobby Cards (5)(11" X 14").
Gloria Swanson), wife of Argentinean horse rancher Josef Swickard falls for dashing nobleman Antonio Moreno in this highly entertaining romantic drama. Throw in a midnight rendezvous or two, family feuds, duels, and even a pulse-raising horse race, and you have rousing adaptation of Hector Turnbull's novel. Heritage is delighted to offer for the first time the title card and five scene cards from the film, all with surprisingly saturated color and in highly admirable condition. Swanson is radiant on the title card which shows pinholes in the corners only. Very minor signs of handling can be detected on the scene cards, such as a nick at the top border of one card and pinholes in the borders. Very Fine+.
