    Description

Mutiny on the Bounty (MGM, 1935). Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Style D.
Winner of the Best Picture Academy Award, Frank Lloyd's semi-historical drama has been memorialized as one of the most famous depictions of the events that took place aboard the HMS Bounty. Charles Laughton, Clark Gable, and Franchot Tone were all nominated for the Best Actor Award, the only time in film history that three actors from the same film would be nominated in that category. Lloyd likewise gained his own nomination for Best Director, with the picture earning Oscar nods in three more categories. Already in great shape even prior to linen-backing, touchup on this colorful stone litho poster has been applied to the folds and a misfold with small tears.

    Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
