Description

The Wizard of Oz (MGM, 1939). Lobby Card (11" X 14")."And I hereby decree that until what time, if any, that I return, the Scarecrow by virtue of his highly superior Brains, shall rule in my stead, assisted by the Tin Man by virtue of his magnificent Heart, and the Lion by virtue of his Courage. Obey them as you would me." This is how the magical Wizard prepares to leave Oz on his journey to return Dorothy to her home in Kansas. This beautiful card features all five of the principal characters, including the Wizard. This card has five pinholes in the borders. The lower right border has a small piece gone, and there is a one-inch tear in the right border extending into the art. Fine.
