    Description

Silk Stockings (MGM, 1957). One Sheet (27" X 41"). The musical remake of "Ninotchka" stars Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse as a movie producer trying to keep a defecting Russian composer in Paris and the Communist official who has come to take the defector back. Astaire keeps the three commisars who were first assigned to the case off balance, and when Charisse appears to follow up, he has to charm her, too. This one sheet has light edge wear, and fold wear with extensive separations and tears, including a large chip on the upper fold. The colors in the Krapalik artwork are still bright and sharp, and a professional restorer could do wonders with this paper. Good+.
