    Description

My Fair Lady (Warner Bros., 1964). Very Good/Fine on Linen. Italian 4 - Fogli (55" X 77"). Enzo Nistri Artwork.
After a highly successful run as a Broadway musical, My Fair Lady was adapted for the screen from the George Bernard Shaw's comedy Pygmalion. On a typical rainy London evening outside Covent Garden, rumpled cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn) is "discovered" by snobbish linguistic expert Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison). Higgins decides that within six months he can turn Eliza into a proper lady. The movie won Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for Harrison, and five other Oscars, and is still considered one of the all-time best movie musicals. Italian artist Enzo Nistri crafted this beautiful image of Hepburn, looking supremely ladylike! Restoration has addressed missing paper and stains in the bottom section, chips and tears in the borders, white background, and along the folds near the center. A very faint mark can be seen around Hepburn's eye as well as an unobtrusive stain in the border near the artist's signature. This version of the 4-foglio is quite rare, and this is only the second time Heritage has offered it.
