    Description

    Follow the Fleet (RKO, 1936). Insert (14" X 36").
Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers perform one of their greatest dance routines ever - "Let's Face the Music and Dance," in this wonderful musical with a score by Irving Berlin. Astaire plays a sailor on shore leave and Rogers his wise-cracking girlfriend who makes a living at a "ten cents a dance" dive. Together they decide to put on a show to renovate a ship and then the fun and the great numbers follow. This beautiful and rarely offered for sale insert poster features great shots of the famed duo. Some excellent restoration has addressed pinholes in the top corners, the top field, and the title. There was edge wear with small chips, and chips in the right and left borders and the bottom right corner. The top border had small tears, and there were horizontal and vertical creases in the top left and bottom center field. There has been some touchup in the names at the top. Fine on Paper.
