    Description

Flirtation (J.D. Trop, 1934). One Sheet (27" X 41"). From the Theaters of Old Detroit Collection.
This light musical comedy stars Ben Alexander, who previously had starred in the Academy Award winning All Quiet on the Western Front and would later star on radio and film in the ground-breaking police series Dragnet, as Dudley, whose little dog gets him in trouble when he disrupts Nancy's (Jeannette Loff) singing performance and she loses her job. This low-budget pre-code sexploitation film was shot and distributed on a States Right basis, meaning without a studios. According to the periodical Film Daily, its original title was Mating Time! This rare and brilliant stone litho poster, the only copy we have ever seen, shows one pinpoint crossfold separation, stains in the left and right borders, and one small one in the lower right corner. Don't miss out on this unique Pre-Code beauty. From the Theaters of Old Detroit Collection. Fine/Very Fine.
