    Diamond Horseshoe (20th Century Fox, 1945). Three Sheet (41" X 81").
    Betty Grable is nothing shy of radiant on this fun-loving stone litho three sheet. Dick Haymes costars as Grable's love interest in this musical blockbuster set among the lives of showgirls and performers at the Diamond Horseshoe nightclub. Posters for the musicals created by Fox were always colorful and those with their top star Grable were always given prominence and extra care. And among the major Grable posters, this may be the best as she dances to another tune, displaying the legs that made her famous. The poster has pinholes, tears in the left border and folds, paper loss in the top right corner, and chips in the folds. Older restoration has addressed some of these issues. Touch-up work has been done to the folds. Fine+ on Linen.
