Cover Girl (Columbia, 1944). Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 40.75"). Musical.
Starring Rita Hayworth, Gene Kelly, Phil Silvers, Lee Bowman, Jinx Falkenburg, Leslie Brooks, Eve Arden, Otto Kruger, Jess Barker, Anita Colby, and Shelley Winters. Directed by Charles Vidor. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. Parts of the borders and title treatment have been airbrushed to correct edge and fold wear, pinholes, creases, tears, fold separation, some staining, and a few chips further addressed by replacement. Touchup applied primarily to the interior folds has addressed fold wear, creases, fold/crossfold separation, and mostly small chips and tears. Some flaws, including toning, remain visible. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
