Description

Camelot (Warner Brothers, 1966). Poster (40" X 60") Roadshow. The legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table is played out in a musical by Lerner and Loewe. The picture would win the Oscars for Best Art Direction and Best Score. Richard Harris portrayed King Arthur to Vanessa Redgrave's Guinevere. This stunning poster is from the film's roadshow release with artwork by Bob Peak. The posters from the roadshow release are extremely scarce and this 40"x60" is the first example we've come across. The poster was issued with a heavy gloss coating that makes this image shine. There are a couple of extremely tiny tears in the borders that keep this poster from grading at Mint. Rolled, Near Mint.
