    Description

Mr. Wu (MGM, 1927). Swedish One Sheet (28" X 39") Portrait Style, Eric Rohman Artwork.
Based on the 1913 stage play by Harold Owen and Harry M. Vernon, this William Nigh production tells the tale of a wealthy Chinese merchant, his daughter, and their tragic entanglement with an English family. Lon Chaney, of course, plays the titular Mr. Wu, while Renée Adorée portrays his wayward daughter and Ralph Forbes acts as the dashing British interloper. Noted Swedish artist Eric Rohman provides portrait of Chaney found on this Heritage first, which shows only minor flaws like light edge wear, very small tears, and slight creases. Folded, Very Fine+.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
