    Description

    Moon Over Miami (20th Century Fox, 1941). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style B.
After the success of Down Argentine Way, Don Ameche and pin-up star Betty Grable re-team for another fun romantic musical, which was much needed at the time, as America was heading into war. Grable was on her way to becoming 20th Century-Fox's biggest star, a position she would enjoy for a decade, along with being the highest paid actress in Hollywood, and having her legs insured for a million dollars. This gorgeous and always rare one sheet features Grable in one of her most iconic pin-up shots, fashioned after artist Alberto Vargas. It is in excellent condition, and has had professional restoration to address light edge wear at the left, a small chip and tear in the lower left corner, and a minor tear in the top border. This poster is the cleanest copy we have offered and is dazzling to behold. We sold another copy of this poster for $38,850 over two years ago! Very Fine on Linen.
