    Monster World (Warren Publishing, 1965). Magazines (4) (Multiple Pages, 8.25" X 11"). Horror.
    Headed by Editor and Chief Forrest J Ackerman, of the Famous Monsters publication, Monster World magazine featured articles, photos and news stories on the horror, science fiction and thriller movie genres. Featured here are the April #3, June #4, and October #5 issues from 1965, and also the special bonus issue titled "Son of Frankenstein" from March 1965. Cover images in this lot include Creature from the Black Lagoon by artist Vic Prezio, Son of Frankenstein and Lobo from Bride by the Monster by artist Grey Morrow, and The She Creature by artist Ron Cobb. The inside features and stories spotlight Ghidrah,The Gorgon, Son of Kongalu, House at the End of the World, and many more, with appearances by Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Christopher Lee. Unrestored magazines with bright colors and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as light spine wear or separation, slight page toning, soft creases, very small tears, or minor corner chips.
