    Description

Vins Camp Romain (1930s). Very Fine- on Linen. French Grande (47.25" X 63") Claude Gadoud Artwork.
The "Camp Roman Wine" was produced in the Laudun region of France, where, hundreds of years earlier, the Romans had a settlement. The art on this poster, by Claude Gadoud, was produced c. 1930 during the height of the art-deco movement, with the three Romans offering red, rose and white wines from the winemaker. Backed with no touchup applied, this stone litho poster has a few pinholes, mild creases, and a small tear to the left of the upper text. There is some staining in the upper border.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
