This beautiful Australian poster promotes several 1932 celebrations associated with the opening of what was to become national heritage history and an international icon of Australia, the Sydney Bridge. The poster features Douglas Annand and Arthur Whitmore artwork of a statuesque diver holding the national flag with spectators in their swimwear watching the event from the shore. Professional corrections have been made to edge and fold wear, creases within the corners, small tears including a corner tear in the bottom left corner, surface paper lifting from the verso, and a few small chips within the borders, interior, and bottom text area. The poster displays nicely after touchup has been applied to the majority of the wear including airbrushing to the top two corners.
