A fascinating motion picture industry trade publication with news, reviews, statistics, and ads for upcoming releases. Of great historical interest is the journal's annual poll of exhibitors and their awards for outstanding motion pictures of the year, based on their drawing power at the theater. Included is a section of large pictures dedicated the "Leading Actors" and "Leading Actresses", such as Abbott and Costello, Betty Grable, Clark Gable, Dorothy Lamour, Gary Cooper, Judy Garland, Bob Hope, Bette Davis, James Cagney, and so many more. The issues no longer have their binding staples. The 1942 Issue is missing the first 34 pages and does not include the year's poll results; however does still have that wonderful photo gallery of "Leading" men and women, and, of course, the ads. Unrestored magazines with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. They may have tears, paper loss, stains, corner bumps, and spine and edge wear.
