This lot also includes the February 1938 issue of Modern Screen (Dell Publishing). Both magazines have lovely portraits of Shirley Temple on their front covers, one of which is by Earl Christy. The magazines are full of Hollywood gossip, news, and film reviews. Including fantastic images and stories about Alice Faye, Melvyn Douglas, Carole Lombard, James Stewart, Hedy Lamar, Spencer Tracy, Barbara Stanwyck, Ann Sheridan, Tyrone Power, Fredric March, Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant, George Raft, Frances Farmer, and Myrna Loy. Unrestored magazines with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. They may have tears, edge and spine wear, paper loss, stains, and/or some fold separation.
