    Offered in this lot are the May, June, and July 1936 and the March, April, May, and June 1937 issues of the fabulous Screen Romances magazine, featuring fantastic cover pieces by artist F. Early Christy of Katharine Hepburn in Mary of Scotland, Janet Gaynor and Robert Taylor in Small Town Girl, Janet Gaynor and Fredric March in A Star Is Born, Ronald Colman and Claudette Colbert in Under Two Flags, Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor in This Is My Affair, and Carole Lombard and Fred MacMurray in Swing High, Swing Low, as well as a cover piece of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The magazines also include all sorts of vintage advertisements, glorious photo-spreads, thrilling fictionizations, and thought-provoking articles on all your favorite Hollywood movies and stars, such as Parnell with Clark Gable and Myrna Loy, Marked Woman with Bette Davis and Humphrey Bogart, Jean Harlow, Errol Flynn, A Family Affair with Lionel Barrymore, Slim with Pat O'Brien and Henry Fonda, The Ex Mrs. Bradford with William Powell and Jean Arthur, Poor Little Rich Girl with Shirley Temple, Devil's Squadron with Richard Dix, Cary Grant, and many, many more. Unrestored magazines that display signs of use. May include light edge or spine wear, slight spine separations, creases, small tears, faint foxing, mild stains, some toning, surface wear, pencil or ink writing, or unobtrusive smudges. The May 1936 issue has a faint dust shadow at the bottom of the front cover. A few of the issues have cellophane tape on the spine and front cover. Fine/Very Fine.
