Description
RKO Exhibitor Books (RKO, 1936-1937 & 1944-1945). Exhibitor Books (2) (9.5" X 12" & 11" X 14.5").These two magnificent exhibitor books come from RKO's 1936-1937 and 1944-1945 campaigns, and are loaded with fantastic pages dedicated to titles such as Murder My Sweet with with Dick Powell and Claire Trevor (under Raymond Chandler's original book title Farewell My Lovely), Fritz Lang's The Woman in the Window with Edward G. Robinson and Joan Bennet, Tall in the Saddle with John Wayne, Walt Disney's The Three Caballeros, and more. Also included are terrific images of stars such as Fred Astaire with Ginger Rogers, Barbara Stanwyck, Claudette Colbert, Charles Boyer, Joan Bennett, Ginger Rogers, and others. Both books are spiral bound, and show expected wear to the covers and edges, including small lifts and tears, and some paper loss on the back cover of the 1936-1937 book. The interior pages, however, show only corner bumps, some edge wear, and a light stain on a couple pages. Fine/Very Fine.
