Offered here is a 1968 Mexico City Summer Olympics poster from the Games of the XIX Olympiad, featuring five stylized dahlias, Mexico's national flower, arranged to echo the Olympic rings and indigenous art patterns. Designed by Lance Wyman, Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, and Eduardo Terrazas, the poster exemplifies 1960s Op Art with bold, radiating lines that create a sense of movement and visual energy. Part of a series of 159 posters, it promoted both the sporting events and Mexican culture, making it a key piece of Olympic graphic design history. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as edge and fold wear, noticeable creasing, and unobtrusive smudging. Although previously folded, poster will be shipped rolled.
