    Description

    Marlene Dietrich (Paramount, 1935). Photo (8" X 10"). Miscellaneous.
Vintage black and white, single weight, glossy still of a gorgeous "motoring" outfit designed personally for Marlene Dietrich by the legendary Paramount designer, Travis Banton. It was Banton who coached Dietrich (as well as Carole Lombard, Kay Francis, Mae West, and others) about their posture and how to achieve the "look" while being photographed in his clothes. There's a great studio snipe on the verso detailing the outfit. An unrestored still that displays signs of use. May include light edge wear, with some minor surface crinkles. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine/Very Fine.
