Maïna Juan (1930s). French Advertising Poster (23" X 31.5") Hardford Artwork. Miscellaneous.
A master of advertising and supposedly "supernatural" abilities, Maïna Juan was a famous Parisian psychic of the 20's and 30's that kept a steady stream of clientele with a bevy of newspaper ads, protective medallions, cardboard talismans, and eye-catching posters, like this one by Hardford. An unrestored stone litho poster that has an overall presentable appearance. May show some signs of age, including brittleness, edge wear, creases, tears, or some paper loss. A few tears a the bottom and a chip in the lower right corner have been repaired with archival tape on the verso. Please see full-color, enlargeable image above for more details.
