    Hollywood Photo Lot (Various, 1920s-1937). Vintage Portrait and Scene Photos (5) and Reproduced Photos from Duplicate Negatives (4) (8" X 10"). Miscellaneous.
    Vintage, double and single weight, glossy and matte finish photos. There are five original photos in this lot: double weight, matte finish, portrait of Walter Long by Carpenter (stock actor for D. W. Griffith, appearing as the Negro villain in Birth of a Nation. He was also the villain in several Laurel and Hardy films). There are also single weight, glossy, photos from Under Your Spell (1936), Charlie Chan at the Opera (1936), Sing, Baby, Sing (1936), and Pick a Star (1937). The lot also includes four reproduced photos from duplicate negatives: Mae Busch, Thelma Todd, Charles Middleton as "Emperor Ming" in Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe, and Edgar Kennedy. Unrestored photos with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. They may have edge wear with small tears on one, punch holes in the border of one, and crinkles and creases.
