These vintage color portraits of Hollywood starlets Ginger Rogers and Alice Faye are fine examples of the promotional premiums provided by the ice cream distributor, Dixie, between 1933 through 1954. When you redeemed 12 of the company's ice cream lids, you received one 8" X 10" or 9" X 11" premium photo of your favorite star. On the back of each photo, there is a small biography of the actor with images from some of their films. Unrestored photos and verso scrapbook cover that display signs of use. May include light edge wear, slight creases, some tears, minor surface scuffs, extra hole punches, minute chips in the borders, or unobtrusive stains and smudges.
