Description

First National Exhibitor's Book (1926-1927). Exhibitor Book (9.5" X 12.5"). Miscellaneous.
An unrestored exhibitor book with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, minor stains. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Original Exhibitor books from the 1920s are absolutely some of the finest materials on film ever printed. Many of the top illustrators of the day (Ralph Iligan/ R.G. Morgan/ Hilliker/ Loren Stout/ Cardiff, etc.) all worked for the studios doing ad campaigns. Their work is reflected here in these marvelous, full color illustrated pages showing fanciful art deco depictions for films that did...and did not happen. Highlights include: Harry Langdon in a two-page spread for Yes Man, gorgeous two-page spread on Corinne Griffith in Ashes, Colleen Moore in Twinkletoes, Ken Maynard series, Forever After with Mary Astor, a beautiful portrait of Norma Talmadge, and more. Fine+.
