    Description

Daily Express Film Book (Daily Express Publications, 1935). British Hardbound Book (208 Pages, 9" X 11").
One of the most delightful film yearbooks you'll see from the mid 1930s. Wonderful cover art of Greta Garbo. There are over 200 pages of great full page color and black and white portraits of many stars including Joan Crawford, Myrna Loy, Carole Lombard, Jean Harlow, Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn, Clark Gable, William Powell, and many others. You'll also find features on numerous top films including The Bride of Frankenstein (Universal, 1935), The Man Who Knew Too Much (Gaumont British, 1935) Top Hat (RKO, 1935), Modern Times (United Artists, 1936) and Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies, just to name a few. An unrestored book that has an overall presentable appearance. May show some signs of age, including brittleness, loose back cover, torn spine, scuffs and scratches to the front cover, corner bumps, torn pages, missing corners, and chips and foxing to the back cover. Internally, the pages are in excellent condition. There is a gold sticker on the inside cover in the bottom left. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Very Good/Fine.
