Circus Poster (Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, 1938). Poster (28" X 42"). Miscellaneous.
World renowned animal hunter and collector, actor and director, Frank Buck, famous for his novel, Bring 'Em Back Alive, toured along with famed lion tamer and ringmaster Terrell Jacobs during Ringling Brother's 1938 season. The real stars of the show, however, were a spectacular group of black leopards. Big cats under the Big Top make for a fabulous poster! An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have tears, edge and fold wear, slight paper loss, minor stains, and/or some fold separation. There is missing paper in the upper left corner and snipe residue in the upper right corner and bottom border. Stone litho artwork. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details.
