    Description

    Carmel Myers Lot (1920s). Autographed Photo (8" X 10") & Autographed Trimmed Photo (7" X 9.25). Miscellaneous.
Featured are two autographed photos of that prodigious vamp of the silent screen - Carmel Myers. Myers appeared opposite Rudolph Valentino in films such as A Society Sensation and All Night, and attempted to ensnare both Francis X. Bushman and Ramon Navarro in Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ. Unrestored vintage gelatin silver, single weight, glossy finish photos that display signs of use. May include slight edge and corner wear, creases, faint toning, or light surface blemishes. One of the photos has additional unobtrusive stains, small tears, ink stamp residue, trimmed borders, and paper loss in the corners. The photos are signed "To Evie Goldich - Best from Carmel Myers - March 1976" and "To Todd Light - My best wishes, Carmel Myers." From the collection of Evie Goldich, Assistant to Gale Sondergaard. Please see full-color, enlargeable image above for more details. Overall Grade: Fine/Very Fine.
