    Description

Austrian Travel Poster (c. 1935). Poster (25" X 37.5"). Artist: Erich von Wunschheim.
Artist Erich von Wunschheim captured the sereneness of an Austrian ski hamlet on this very well preserved travel poster from the 1930s. White capped mountains hover protectively over the quaint chalets, roof tops blanketed with a downy layer of fresh powder. All of this to the delight of downhill enthusiasts ready to queue up for their day on the slopes. The top border was folded back, there is a dust shadow in the bottom section, and tiny tears in the right, left and top border. Rolled, Very Fine-.
