Art Deco International Exposition Paris Poster (1937). French Petite (15.5" X 23.5").
Architects Eugene Beaudoin (1898 - 1983) and Marcel Lods (1891 -1978) not only were responsible for the overall design of the 1937 International Exposition in Paris, but the pair also created this winning poster in the competition held by the Ministry of Commerce. It's easy to fall in love with the City of Light, especially gazing at this soft pastel-hued stone litho affiche, with three skywriting airplanes spelling "Paris" over the skyline. There is a tiny tear in the lower right corner, but otherwise, the poster is in excellent condition. Very Fine+ on Linen.
