    Description

Alekasndr Rodchenko Soviet Poster #2 (Communist Academy and the Museum of the Revolution, Post-1917). Soviet Propaganda Poster (21" X 27.5") "Revolution." Miscellaneous.
Russian artist Aleksandre Rodchenko (1891-1956) was a leading artist during the post-revolutionary era in Russia after the overthrow of the Czarist monarchy in 1917. Part of a group of artists known as the Constructivist, Rodchenko saw Russian traditional art in society shift to one that serviced the proletariat. This excellent example of Rodchenko's photo montage style details the events of 1917 in the Uzbek language. An unrestored poster with a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as slight edge and fold wear, creases, and tears. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Folded, Very Fine+.
