    Alan Ladd & Other Lot (1941-1952). Fine/Very Fine. Autographed German Postcard (3.5" X 5.5"), Photo and Autographed Receipt in Mat (10.25" X 19.5"), Photos (10) (4" X 5" - 8" X 10"), Magazines (2) (4" X 6" - 8.5" X 11"), & Italian Magazines (2) (11.25" X 14.5"). Miscellaneous.
    Offered in this lot is an autographed German postcard, an autographed receipt, and vintage silver gelatin, single weight, glossy finish photos of Alan Ladd as he starred in several of his films such as Two Years Before the Mast, Branded, The Glass Key, Calcutta, and This Gun for Hire. Also included is a vintage silver gelatin, single weight, matte finish photo and the September 19, 1949 issue of Quick magazine featuring Rita Hayworth, issues 24 and 28 of 1952 from the Italian magazine Novenella, featuring Veronica Lake and Alan Ladd respectively, and a 1956 issue of the James Dean Album which has several articles and photos about the beloved actor after his untimely death in 1955. Unrestored items that display signs of use. May include slight edge and spine wear, creases, some surface scuffs and scratches, minor tears and paper lifts, very small chips, some staining, smudges, or toning. The German postcard and the receipt have been signed by Alan Ladd. Heritage Auctions believes that the autographed items in this lot are authentic, but know before bidding that no Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
